On March 5th, InFinance will organize the first edition of the European Finance Summit, to take place at the ECCL. Composed of a series of conferences, round tables discussions, networking cocktail and awards ceremony, the event will gather tens of experts who will notably discuss the topic of sustainable finance.

The organizers are proud to announce that Pascal Bouvier (Fintech Venture Capital Investor), Sachin Vankalas (General Manager, LuxFLAG), Bernard Nicolay (Adjunct Professor, Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ULB)) and Diego Rojas (Co-Founder and CTO, mattrvest) will participate to a panel discussion and answer to the following question: "What could be the outcome of a business model driven by sustainable finance?"

 

Pascal Bouvier (photo) is a fintech venture capital investor active in both North America and Europe. Prior to investing in fintech, Pascal has held a variety of positions with startups and small sized businesses in the software and software services fields.

Sachin Vankalas was appointed General Manager of LuxFLAG on 1 June 2019.  Prior to his appointment as a General Manager, Sachin has been leading the operations and sustainability processes at LuxFLAG since 2011, acquiring deep knowledge and expertise in the sustainable investment market.

Bernard Nicolay is Adjunct Professor at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ULB) and Guest Lecturer at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL. His topics of interest include financial regulation, sustainable finance, innovation in finance and emerging use cases relating to blockchain and digital assets.

Diego Rojas is a software engineer and entrepreneur with more than a decade dedicated to Fintech with strong focus in consumer lending and various financial services, working in companies such as LendingClub in the US, Dianrong (China) and several startups in Southeast Asia.
