The technology and regulatory service provider investify has added a prominent member to its Board of Directors. The Financial Regulator CSSF is still to approve the appointment.
Georges Bock, with KPMG Luxembourg between 1991 and 2018 and a member of the management body for Governance.com since 2018, will further increase the RegTech expertise at investify TECH while using his extensive network to expand B2B activities at the company’s head office in Luxembourg. Georges Bock, who will continue as Chief Strategy Officer for Governance.com, is pleased that he was approached by the Wasserbillig experts for digitisation of the financial sector: “I’ve always been aware of investify since it was founded in 2015, because it was the first tech company with individual digital asset management, and the first on the market to offer fully digital customer onboarding. It further developed to become a B2B partner for banks and financial service providers, and it is already very successful thanks to its excellent technology and outstanding reputation in Germany. Customers value the modular and holistic approach for various compliance solutions, from customer onboarding and the prevention of money laundering to MiFID supervision. investify adresses an absolute future market, which I find exciting”, explains Bock. investify has announced prestigious B2B cooperations in recent months and more are expected in the near future. Bock adds: “The business model also complements the solutions we develop at Governance.com.” Georges Bock underpins investify’s business strategy, where outsourcing activities to improve efficiency and cost reductions as well as providing technology for the investment business are increasingly important.
Both companies are helping to put the Luxembourg financial market at the forefront of the digitisation of the financial world. Christian Kratz, Board of Directors and Management Board Member at investify, emphasises the excellent conditions for companies like investify in Luxembourg. A Board of Directors member recognised by the Luxembourg market is the logical outcome. Kratz adds: “Georges Bock will not only move us forward in terms of content, but will also help us to become stronger and put down roots in Luxembourg. To date, all of our B2B customers come from Germany.”
Georges Bock concludes: “There are a few real gems on Luxembourg’s FinTech scene with forward-looking business models. investify is one of them, and it has already proven the efficiency of its technology on numerous occasions. And the team convinced me, so I am delighted to conquer the Luxembourg market with investify.”
