On April 25th, more than 200 key decision makers from within the financial sector are expected to attend the 9th edition of PrivateBanker. The event will take place at the Hotel Le Royal, with experts discussing the following topic: "from private banks to wealth management firms, beyond investments".
Nowadays, the private banking industry is currently adapting its business model because of increased transparency pressure, well informed clients asked for more high-level and multi-field advice, but also because of the introduction of low-cost digital services. Private bankers are therefore forced to rethink their value proposition in order to retain existing clients and attract new ones. Moreover, their need to take advantage of emerging technologies while providing their clients with unique experiences.
So far, several experts have already confirmed their participation, notably Najat Skeate (President of the Luxembourg Association of Wealth Managers) and Hans-Peter Borgh (Head of Wealth and Investment Management, Memeber of the Management Board, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg). Mrs Skeate is an Experienced Property Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in Property development and the financial services industry. Hans-Peter holds a Master in Business Administration. Prior to joining BIL he was Chief Commercial Officer for Private Banking Asia & Middle East at ABN AMRO. Before that, Hans-Peter Borgh was Regional Head Affluent Banking Asia Pacific at ANZ.
